SHOW NOTES:
• It's not an easy thing to talk about because our debt is a private, it's almost a private entity of the household, and when we think about it or we talk about it, it's one of those things that we wanna just put under the rug, but consumer debt and household debt has risen to the highest level that it's ever been this year, and I know that people feel hopeless. (1:57)
• The start of the deception when it comes to money and how people think that money works and how our banking system works and how a fractional banking system is... I mean, some people don't know this, but your money is not in the bank, there's a fraction of your money in the bank. If everybody went to the bank and said, I want to get all my money out of here, you wouldn't be able to do it, and even though it's your money. (4:33)
• We're in the age of social media where the highlights, the highlights are what people share on social media, and there are people that start to feel bad about themselves if they don't have enough. Or if they look a certain way, like all of these things, and when they see other people with things and the cars, and they're wanting to fit in or be looked up to... Does that make sense? Yeah, and then what happens is, because they don't feel good about that, they need the instant gratification, and they go and buy with money that they don't have, to impress people that don't even care. (6:19)
• The average person has less than $3000 in their retirement account, and people say, Oh well, you know, I can think about that later, or it's in my 401k, or I've got it in this or whatever, but... do you really know exactly how much you're going to have when you retire? When you're ready to retire, and is it going to be enough to support what the statistics say? That you need money for medical bills, you're going to need it. (12:50)
• Same number as last time, 512-270-2037. you can text the word DEBT to that number, and it will send you a quick financial quiz, and that quiz, it's just going to give you a little, I guess, a little eye-opening view as to some of the things that we might talk about. But then also, we can set up a time to do a free analysis based on that questionnaire, I'll be able to determine if someone would need a financial analysis, and then from that financial analysis, that's how we know if you qualify for the program.
